ABOUT OUR PRINCIPAL
Dwayne Little completed his sheet metal apprenticeship at the age of 22, & became a Red Seal Journeyman in 2004. Throughout the next decade, he managed & lead multiple teams through various commercial ventilation installations.
The targeted projects at this time were schools, retail base buildings, tenant improvement spaces, hotels, & recreation centers. In 2010, Dwayne accepted a new role as General manager / Estimator to expand the business’s client base & labour force. Since then, Star SM has grown to build some of the most prominent Towers in Western Canada. They’ve provided HVAC solutions for over 12 high-rise residential tower condominium projects in Calgary & Kelowna, providing over 2000 homes.
ABOUT OUR VP & FABRICATION MANAGER
Darian Little started his apprenticeship within our sheet metal fabrication shop during his teenage years. Throughout the next decade he completed a degree in finance while working along side Bryan at Star Sheet Metal.
These years gained him the experience & skills required to Master our craft. Since then Darian’s shop experience & onsite training has lead him to become our Shop Foreman & Manager. He’s produced thousands of linear feet of every shape, size, & gauge of ductwork our commercial projects required.
Whether you request custom galvanized fittings, Satin Coated paintable flashings, Framed expanded metal grilles/grates, or Acoustically lined ductwork – Darian will be able to Fabricate it for you !
OVER 40 YEARS IN BUSINESS
Star Sheet Metal was founded in Chestermere, Alberta, by Bryan & Denise Little in 1977, & has continued as a family-run business ever since.
With both sons - Dwayne & Darian Little, having been exposed to the industry as children, they learned the value of hard work along with the very best fabrication & installation procedures.
Over 40 years later, both brothers manage all aspects of our projects, which include:
